Finally got one
 

Just wanted to say hello. I've wanted a Corvette for the last 35 years or so. I finally got a 1978 model. Great mechanically, but needs some interior work. I look forward to reading these forums.

Hello,my friend!I am almost like you;All my life I've wanted a Corvette.I finally got my 108000 mile 96 almost 3 years ago.I'll be 36 next thursday.Isn't it great that with hard work and a LOT of patience we can get at least some of what we want?Interior work?So what!!I need a little of that myself,but I still have my Vette!So enjoy!There is nothing like driving one,no matter what year,condition,or looks.Enjoy your Vette like we all do;it's always a lot of fun!!

Hi:[sm=hiya.gif] That is so exciting. Oldman, I'm an old woman and I've been driving Vettes for about the last 35 years, plan to drive them to my grave. Its like you are in your private parade driving these babies. Yes, the folks here are really sharp, all I admit to knowing is where the gas pedal, and the radio knob is on my car. Join in the fun.

I know what it's like to wait. I finally got my first 'vette this summer. I've been craving one for many years.
