first Corvette
 

Hello everyone,
My name is Mark Wagner, I'm 60 years old and I just picked up my first Corvette. a 1981. the body is in pretty good shape and so is the frame and birdcage. it has 84,000 miles and was repainted red some time ago (original color is white),. it has the tan cloth interior which needs freshening up - carpets mostly. and is missing the exhaust behind the cat, brake lines need replacement too (I bought a full Stainless Steel kit).
I do have some experience with Corvettes and Musclecars, I was Foreman in a restoration shop specializing in Corvettes and GM muscle cars. and worked in a couple other restoration shops over the years, but won't pretend to know all, because I don't. My primary focus was on the older models. I started out as a mechanic in the '70s, trained by GM, then switched to bodywork after 8 years in the Army. My plan at this point is a mild Resto-Mod, to include beyond the obvious, aluminum later model corvette heads, and a mild camshaft, free flow exhaust , lowering the car, and adding 17 inch wheels and tires. I'm open to ideas and learning more as I go.

hello to all ,just bought a 2017 stingray lt2 z51 and I bought the afe power momentum pro 5r air intake but this car I have is a certified gm car with additional warranty does this product void warranty if installed
