Hello & I have a guestion.

Nice to be on the site and I'm sure I'll be checking in often. A few questions though. I'll be ordering my C6 in the next few weeks(gotta dump my 350Z) and my dealer says that it could probably be 3-4 months to build to my specs. I want a Vic-Red cpe 6speed with RED LEATHER, ISB pkg, polished chrome wheels and maybe the Z51 pkg. This doesn't sould like to difficult a request. Is this standard time restraints. And last, is there any significant changes for the 2006 cpe from the 2005. Steering wheel maybe? And should I wait for the 2006? Thanks for any response!

well my father in law ordered one about 6 weeks ago, black on black convertable with a 6 on the floor

He told me yesterday (8/13/05) that it will be another 6-7 weeks.

so what you were told may not be too far off.

Thanks wlaukaitis for the feedback. Its good to know I'm not being singled out, lol ! I quess I should be patient when the time comes. I think it looks as if I'll be ordering a 2006 and I'm dying to know what changes if any will occur. Hopefully the steering wheel gets a makeover. Again, thanks.

quick question, not happy with the Z, or just not as happy as you would be with a C6?

Patrick, my Z is wonderful car. But not a Corvette. My financial status has changed since geting my Z and now the dream of getting my Vette is finally happening. I'm glad about the timing also now that the new C6 has arrived. My father-in-law bought a 2004 Corvette last Christmas(thanks to me) and since then I knew it was just a matter of time. Thanks for asking and...by the way, you know anyone intrested in a 350Z? lol

haha...if my financial status was different, i may very well look into that proposition, but of late, i have become quite the "project car" person...and i have more than i can manage now! :D
