HI

I am just saying hi as this is my second post here. I purchased my C4 in November and have been trying to save money for my winter project as it sits in the garage. I am going to be doing a head job on the car this winter with hopefully accel super ram, melrose exhaust, and it currently has a vortech blower on it I was just wondering if you guys would suggest that I need to do a new cam at the same time? Any info would be great!

RE: HI

Depends on what cam is in there now. :) The Accel puts 1000cfm down the chutes. That's alot of fuel and air. ALOT. If it has a blower, someone might have already put an aggressive cam in.

bill.

RE: HI

My stepdad had owned the car before me and I am really sure that he did not have the shop change anything internally. The vorech blower kit was put on in like 91-92 with a fuel pump, injecors, and normal cumputer programming. I know he had to have it detuned because of emmisions, but now where I live there is no emmisions so I need to get it tuned back up! Also, I've got a buddie with a t-type buick and he is running alch. injection and I was wondering if that would be something I would benefit from because I do not have an intercooler? So in short I believe that it is the stock cam.
