hooker header exhaust system

Hello; I jusy purchased a 2007 C6 Z06 L7 corvette. 427 engine. The prior owner put a hooker exhaust with long tube headers on the car. He has no cats on it. I live in Pennsylvania and need to get clarification of if I need cats or if I do, I would like to know what cats to purchase on this bad ass car? Any info would be appreciated
