Happy forth of July, Purchased a gently used ( Red Jewel 12,500 miles)2006 Z51 Corvette. After 36 years of wanting one..... [sm=groupwave.gif]when I was young (17) could not afford it, whenI got older married & raising a familywithtwo sons could afford it but it was not pratical. Now thatI have moved from NJto Florida purchased a new home with a three car garage& retired @ 53 I deserve it.
Both sons still live in NJ, ( ages 26 & 29 ) and are happy that I purchased it, their only complaint is that they cannot borrow it. :(Well I put it to them this way...... first I live in a state that theCorvette can be used 365 days a year.... second I have a roomy garage to park it & wax itin & last both of you live approximately 1,320 miles away ( Work for your own )!!!!!Thanks for listening & happy to be here. Congrats to you and yes you deserve it my youngest is 19 oldest 23 so I did the same thing at 41 I got my 1stvette that I have allways wanted and they cant borrow it either. Good to see you here post some pictures

Welcome whistler. It's a great feeling to finally enjoy some of the things you couldn't have while raising a family!! Welcome again and yes please post some pictures.
