New Guy Question

Thanks for the invite into the group, I am looking forward to increasing my knowledge.

Probably a question that will have a multitude of answers.

I am looking for suggestions on how/where to purchase a C3. What are the best resources online to educate me in the process?

I am mainly interested in a reliability and value retention. I have always been drawn to the C2-C3 body styles. What level of car should I expect for $30K-$35K?

Thanks!!!

In your price range a C-3 should be a stellar car. Maybe not a 427 convertible, but stellar none the less. For a C-2 you're looking at a driver quality car that may need some TLC. If you're looking for online resources sign up for Bring a trailer auction. Start studying the "sold"listings and read through the comments. There's a lot of knowledgeable people on there and it will give you an idea of what prices can bring. I find they're higher than what I would usually pay. But lots of good info there. Welcome from Washington!

Welcome. I don't think that you will find a C2 for that kind of money. I could be wrong depending on how much work you are willing to undertake.

Thanks for the advice. The information in the comments of the Bo T auctions contains some educational content.
