Hi everybody. My name is Cheryl I am 21 years old and live in Plano. I have a 1996 Corvette. I have always loved corvettes never had one of my own. My dad bought me one and told me i had to earn. So I had to pass a pharmacy tech class and it was MINE! I was so excited. My dad for his mid-life crsis bought a 1999 Corvette black on black. Sadly to say my dad has just recently passed away so he cant enjoy the car he loved most. He always wanted to pix up the 1996 so I am takin on that task since he can't as well as the 1999.

Welcome. Hope you like for forum. Plano Texas, right? (For all I know there is another Plano, in Brazil or somewhere).

A '96 is a great car. One of my favorite years for vettes.

Congrats on the Vette! and welcome to the site. I'm originally from Fort Worth but live in Houston now. This is a pretty cool site and seems to have some fairly knowledgable people here to help if ya have any issues w/th Vette. I've got an 84-first of the C4's, 96 was the last year-yours auto or 6 speed?

Hello Cheryl, welcome to the forums. Sorry to hear about your dad I hope all is well with your family. Sounds like you have a nice set of Vettes on your hands. What color is the '96?
