hi my name is jim moffitt and i have recently purchased a 85 vette as a project car .it is now down to the bare skeleton .this 3 hour tour turned out to be a world voyage. i own a speed shop in abilene called the war room and i intend to show the c4 boys what you can do with them old lemons if you put your mind to it. the boys laughed when i drug it in and rolled when i told them what i paid for it but they aint laughing no more. i just bench fired the the new engine and pulled a whopping 653 horses .now i dont know much about vette rear drive trains and im looking for some expertise .

Is that an engine or a piece of weaponry?

ill keep ya up to date on the build im building a 9" housing up to accept the half shafts and ill post the pics as it happens. ive allways liked the vetts but never had the time to build one . i took every last screw out of this one to famillierize myself with it and they really do have some unique engineering to them.

hey look c3 ive got this problem, there is a guy up in tennessee named skip white founder of white performance, he is supposed to have one corvette eatin 240z datsun and hes runnin a dyno built 383 stroker sbc. i trade with him he has a fair company but im gunnin for him in june with the war rooms voodoo vette. he is ignoring me rightnow and wont reply to the e-mail but i believe if others start asking him whats up? we might just get us a race going in june.hes on ebay at whiteperformance1
can you boys help me defend the corvette rep.

RE: new member

Ah yes, a battle of the minds!
He's either tryin' to tell you he wouldn't waste the gas on ya, or he's just blowin' wind about the so called Corvette eater. He won't take you serious 'till you have a runnin' Vette.
Granted, he's under your weight, but with what you're buildin' it shouldn't matter.
Once the Voo-Doo Vette is together, take it to the strip and find out what she'll run. E-mail your times to him, but add 1 sec to your run time.;) See if he bites. Maybe tell him you want to set up a match race, heads up! Throw down the gantlet so to speak. If he bites, it's a race, if not, I'd say he' scared!:D
See if you can find out what he runs in the 1/4.:)A little spy work!!!
Have fun, if it comes to be, let us know how it comes out. I'll be rootin' for ya!!![sm=icon_rock.gif]

Where is he in Tennessee? maybe I can help. What's he claming? after all he's runn' a chevy engine. if it was a datson engine it might be something to brag on. but that won't happen. I'll check him out for ya.
