New member here, introduction.
 

Just a quick hello. New member here! Currently dont have a sports car but in past i was into imports. My last "sports car" was an 08 STI stage2 boosting 21psig (Close to 400bhp). I had to sell in 2010 due to life changes such as divorce and bankrupcy. At heart, i have always been a GM guy. My first car at 19yrs old was a 86 Z28 5speed 305CI. Loved that car even though it was a dog.
I have always loved Vettes and my dad has a 76 stingray that he loves more than his kids, lol! My plan is to purchase a C6 vette in the next 6-12months. I'm looking for a low milage Z06 or a Grand Sport to be specific and prefere manual but would consider an auto if the right car came up. Unfortanatly i'm not able to buy right now do to refinacing my morgage and consolidating some othe finacies that should free up a considerable amount of cash flow to allow me to save up for the car I want. That and I spent about $15k on guns this year! Gotta stop!

I'm someone who is extremly mechanically inclined and have rebuilt several non perfomance OHC engines. I do not know much about pushrod engines or vettes in general but plan on learning as much as I can. My background and degree is in Mechnical Engineering and I am an active duty Veteran (92-96) of the US Navy. I also currently work for a defense contractor for that last 5 years.
