new to vettes, buying one in the next week or so

Hi all,

I have done my research and decided it is time to step up to a C4, for the longest time I couldnt find one to buy, now I have two I need to choose from. I should have it either this week or next at the latest, unless someone knows of another one to consider (I am in Tucson).

Good luck. They are really nice cars: in many ways the later C4s (94-96) have always been my favorites. Always wanted one, just have no room left in the garage for another car.

what was it about the 94-96 that you liked more than say, a 93?

I would prefer a 94-96 mostly because I would want to buy a fairly recent model rather than something older with more age (deterioration, wear) on it. Any of the C4s were pretty nice but I just think the final three years look a little cleaner in line, etc. My favorite stock one is the 96, with the LT4. For a long time I have wanted to get a red C4 about ten years old and put a stroker 427 small block in it, with headers and a mild grandfather (low end torque) cam but otherwise stock. That would be a really great car. However my wife drew theline at getting yet another project car, so, for the time being, nothing
