Traded CTS-V for '08 coupe
Three years ago,Ibought a '05 CTS-Voff of the showroom floor with 4 miles on the odometer. What a great car! It put a smile on my face every time I stepped on the throttle. Thenwith 48,000 miles on the odometer, the warrenty almost up, andthe fourth differential howling like a banshee, it had to go. The frustraton level of owning the CTS-V wasfinally more than I could bear, so Italked the wife into getting the Vette I always wanted.I'm now the proud owner ofa '08 coupe. The only thing I will miss is thelook of total confusion on other driver's faces as my silver, four door sedan blows their doors off. You just can't do that with a red Corvette.

Welcome
You may not fool them anymore with a sleeper, but you will still blow their doors off!! |

Looks like you and I are in the same situation, I just bought a 08 Vette to replace my 05 CTS-V. I also loved blowing cars away that thought they would jump out in front of me at a light; 350Zs come to mind right away.
I too have always wanted a Vette and now Ifinally got one and I love it. My CTS-V only had 24K and I have never had any major problems butI figured they would come at some pointafter reading the CTS-V owner forums. Take care and enjoy. |
