Yowza! Brand new owner in the middle of nowhere
Well, correction - I'm technically just right at the halfway point between "Nowhere" and "Absolutely Nowhere". You may have seen it on a drive across the country in the middle bits where all the corn is.
My name is Tommy and I just purchased a 2001 C5. It's the bright yellow of course, because I wanted the extra HP provided by the yellow. It's just a standard C5 with a 6 speed manual and the glass top. has about 68000 miles on it, which I didn't think was terrible if I take it as an average. I'm not a wealthy man by any stretch, so this is my daily driver. I live in an area that experiences all of the seasons so it's an interesting commute to work some mornings and sometimes I have to ask someone for a ride, but it is what it is.
So there's the deal. I hated being the guy whose first post was a technical question but I made sure my second one was in the obligatory Introduction thread.
Glad to be here and glad to meet you all. I look forward to spending some time here and learning about this car.
Thanks!
