guage problem...

It's the fuel guage, typical intermittent function. A community vehicle, of sorts too. Late '80's model, The fuel gauge doubles as the liquid O2 sensor. Smokes ALOT when you first start it up (I don't think valve stem seals), but after that, it takes off like a rocket.

I say put in a toggle switch on the dashboard and be done with it. Whaddya think?

Oh yeah - the reason it takes off like a rocket is cause it IS a rocket.

Seriously, why do they need a gas guage on a rocket? So they know when to pull over and gas up? Keep up with the fuel mileage? I'd be more worried about gettin' a flat tire.
