Murphy’s Lesser-Known Dictums:

· Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

· He who laughs last, thinks slowest.

· Those who live by the sword get shot by those who don’t.

· Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

· The 50-50-90 rule: Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there’s a 90% probability you’ll get it wrong.

· The things that come to those who wait will be the things left by those who got there first.

· Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat all day drinking beer.

· The shin bone is a device for finding furniture in a dark room.

· A fine is a tax for doing wrong. A tax is a fine for doing well.

· When you go into court, you are putting yourself in the hands of 12 people who weren’t smart enough to get out of jury duty.

This is perfect, I love quotes. Here are a few I like:

"He came to pay a debt He didn't owe, because we owed a debt we couldn't pay"

"Start every morning as if it's on purpose"

"The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, unless the tree is on a hill"

"There is nothing more unequal, than the equal treatment of unequals"

"If you let peoples perception of you dictate your behavior you will never grow as a person"

"Great leaders are followed by those who are respected by great leaders"

I have two, one all fil-o-soficleze, and one for vette fans.

* Accept that some days you're the pigeon, and some days you're the statue.

* Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them.

* Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.

* Drive carefully. It's not only cars that can be recalled by their maker.

* If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.

* If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

* It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

* Never buy a car you can't push.

* Never put both feet in your mouth at the same time, because then you won't have a leg to stand on.

* Nobody cares if you can't dance well. Just get up and dance.

* Since it's the early worm that gets eaten by the bird, sleep late.

* The second mouse gets the cheese.

* When everything's coming your way, you're In the wrong lane.

* Birthdays are good for you. The more you have, the longer you live.

* You may be only one person in the world, but you may also be the world to one person.

* Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.

* We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.

* A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.

There is something wrong in a government where they who do the most have the least. There is something wrong when honesty wears a rag, and rascality a robe; when the loving, the tender, eat a crust, while the infamous sit at banquets.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, I dunno, Jimmie Johnson might be.... could be.... the Champion!! WOOT!!

We love us Jr. somethin' fierce, too, Corvette Lady. We think he's a total class act. I was an Earnhardt fan before the fatal incident Feb '01; took me a couple years to get over that to be honest, I was so lost at the time when Sr. left us... anyways, Jr. is our second guy we root for, and we root for him somethin' fierce.

GO Junior!!! WOOT!

Good ol' Tony "Balogna" Stewart!!! :D:D

Actually, he has done a lot for himself last year, inasmuch as getting him back into my "respected" books.... I actually found myself impressed on several occassions last year with the way he handled certain things.

Really, except for Kurt Busch, there's really no one I can't stand right now in the sport. There's just somethin' about Kurt that rubs me the wrong way... we call him "Weasel Boy" at my house. *laughs* :D

Hey Cool Folks:
Been away for a few days, huge computer ailments. Yep, thank goodness that we all don't like the same race drivers, how boring would that be. Did you all see Tony Stewart at Barrett Jackson in Scotsdale. Think he bought a Nomad. Yes, that horrible day in February will live in my heart forever. It still brings tears to my eyes when I think of Dale. Love Tony Stewart, he has that aggressive attitude of Dale, Sr. You all have a really good week.
