This is Deuce. Her claws are like eyelashes. I've named a couple of others that come in my window, and this summer was her 3rd here. One juvenile I knew from last year too. Herman (munster)wasn't here this year (he had a patch that was always ruffled on the side of his neck).

and this was a rookie - hadn't named it yet, cause I can't tell what kind of tools it's got yet. It was lookin' for a pic of itself on the bird ID chart, or readin' some passages from the Word, while gettin' a sip...

Yup. She's the only one that will light on my hand. All the rest, even when feedin' from the eyedropper, won't light on my finger, even with a glove for smell cover. She ain't afraid to get in my face either, with that javelin 8 inches from my noggin'. You can feel the wingbeat in yer face too.
