You guys are looking at it the wrong way. Look at the GT-40 it is a deal. Or, it is an investment that can only go up in value! Better sign me up for one also, I'm halfway to my IRA already:)

I wouldn't worry to much about the hood bulge or the styling. No doubt when it debuts it will have newer styling (the test mule is a current model) and they will work on the bulges, scoops, etc.

Pretty exciting car. I see they are not sure what to name it yet.

I like the SS and Stingray names from the good ol days when I only dreamed of owing a Vette.

I think the term "SS" has become to watered down over the years for it to really mean anything to me anymore. Chevy seems to throw that name on just about anything. They already have a Cobolt SS and are in the process of making a HHR SS, and I don't know how you guys feel but that seems like a joke to me.

I, sadly, completely agree. Back in the ol' days, if you saw an SS badge on a Chev, you immediately knew that puppy was packin' serious heat.... not so much these days, eh? A real shame the way tradition goes the way of the dinosaur when the almighty dollar is king......
