1967 327 350hp L79 Rebuilt Engine For Sale

This engine is a completely rebuilt 1967 Corvette 327 350 hp L79 done by the seller Muir Engine Services, LLC. The block (3892657) is dated J146 and is freshly bored and honed at .030 over with new forged, domed pistons. There are no pad numbers since they were removed when the deck was resurfaced to ensure a flat machined surface. The crank is forged steel 4577 with fresh .010/.010 journals. The crank end has been drilled and tapped for a balancer bolt.

The intake is the aluminum 3890490 with the Winters “Snowflake” logo. All threaded holes are in excellent shape. The intake bolts are the black “M” head.

The heads are 3890462 dated H136 and H156 and are “true” 2.02/1.60 with unshrouded chambers. The heads were resurfaced and received a complete valve job.

The aluminum valve covers are year correct for a 1967 Corvette with the casting flaw thru the “O”. The valve cover bolts are “M”. Note: this engine can be a Chevelle L79 by changing the valves covers (and maybe selling the Corvette ones!).

All internal components are new to include cam bearings, rod bearings, main bearings, ARP head bolts, forged pistons, rings, camshaft, timing set, rockers, lifters, pushrods, balancer, gaskets, oil pan, and oil pump. Name brands were used like Crane, Melling, Sealed Power, ARP, Fel Pro and Summitracing. All bearings have been clearanced and a detailed checklist was used during reassembly. The engine has been oil primed.

Paypal is the preferred method of payment. A U.S. postal money order is also accepted but it needs to clear the bank before the engine is released to the buyer. This could take up to ten business days or longer.

The engine can be crated for an additional $100 and loaded on your carrier.

Price $3375.

Michigan add 6% sales tax.
