Been Challenged by an Srt10 viper
 

I have a Corvette 2006c6. I was challenged by an 06 Viper Srt10 Convertible. Can I beat him? he wants to put 200$ on it...Stock for Stock?

If you have a Z06 then it's a drivers game. If not then he most likely gets your two hundred bucks.

If you have a standard 'vette you don't really have much chance, unless you can get a NOS kit and a good tune prior to the race. If you have a Z06 and he's not a better driver than you it is a toss-up: the ZO6 is a bit faster: will win about 60 out of 100 races but that's hardly a sure thing

ya don't really need the $200. :D
Walk away and leave him wondering. ;)
Ya just beat him mentally, you saved on gas, and ya still have your $200. :)

Wow, different world you live in. I cannot recall ever accepting a race I was certain I would lose and I don't see how taking a challenge you know you will lose makes you any more or less of a ma" (or woman). Throwing away even just $200 seems to me to prove nothing more than that cliche adage, "A fool and his money are soon parted."
