454 stroked,makes over 1300 hp all motor!
Fantastic. I love over the top cars, particularly those that can be driv en on the street, even if they aren't particularly easy to drive on the street. Your 60 foot times are fantastic. I don't do very well there. On street tires (drag radials) my vette has never done better than a 1.66 and that was a rare fluke. One time on slicks it did a 1.50 with my son driving but in the video after, I could see chassis flex as it launched quite a lot, and I'm not going to push my luck tearing it up any more. Its really meant as just a fast but civilized street car.

A C5 can only do 150? Is that what your saying? Or just yours
JK LOL
No, it can reach 150 in 13.6 seconds from standing still, with two on.
I don't know its top speed: the fastest I've had it just over 165, and it was still pulling pretty hard (and it was beginning to feel like I was going way too fast for conditions).
I imagine it could exceed 200 with enough room -- its 0-150 time is a good as the Lingenfelter vette on the cover of R&T this month and it does 205 in the top end.

EXCELLENT time! I have a G-Tech Pro and it is accurate as long as you have it properly setup. In my experience, it is within about 0.3sec in the 1/4 mile and 0.2 sec in the 1/8th mile. The trap speed is always going to be high because it measures your true instantaneous trap speed at the end rather than average of a certain distance like at a drag strip.

I've done many pulls up to nearly 1/2 mile with the G-Tech, almost got into trouble on a few occasions, but fortunately I didn't! These days I'm more interested in 60fts and 1/8th miles for launching purposes, too dangerous (to my driver's license) to go for the full 1/4 or beyond. I've never done 0-150 mph with the G-Tech, although I did get 0-146 mph in 14.2 sec with my old setup.

I really like ours. Worth the money and time to calibrate it well.

Another gadget I find really useful is a Thermohawk 400 -- you an order them through Amazon for about 65$. It's standoff surface temperature thermometer, about the size of just two AA batteries, that you just point at things and push the button to find the temp. Its useful for finding overheating pulley bearings, etc., and just interesting to find out what temp everything under the hood is running.
