Corvette Forums - Corvette Enthusiast Site - 1994 surging at idle ping stumbling when it's throttled

have a 1994 C4 Corvette with an Lt1 engine. It has 63000 miles on it.

I have one minor issue that comes and goes very randomly. It starts with a surging idle. And at low speeds under 60 miles an hour if you lightly step on the throttle *it's kind of like it misses and falls on his face. Step on the throttle *just a little harder to get the RPM's up it takes off like a scared rabbit. When all this is going on it will also be pinging. It doesn't matter if you're running regular or super. Only does it occasionally always seems to be on a hotter day on a long drive.

As you continue driving the ping gets louder and more often and higher RPMs and the *surging at a idle is more .the miss starts going lower down speeds. Never seems act up above 60-65. My gas mileage is pretty consistent between 16 and 20 miles a gallon going back forth to work and normal driving which consists of Freeway in town.20 to 24 on a trip
Today it stalled once at a stoplight it started right back up it just kept getting worse as we drove it like heat-related.
The gas mileage hasn't been as good as I think it was last year. And today or the freeway 18.5 was the best I was able to pull.

No codes in the computer periods everything else seems to be going great. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The first time I was able to put the scanner on it why it was acting up voltage's or solid except for map voltage was all over the place and the oxygen sensors All 4 of them or not stable but the engine was RPMs. timing changed as you expect but once it started acting up it is missing area the timing started changing all over the place
Next time it's at I drive it it more than likely will not act up the will be solid
