My 89 has a miss in the engine and will not restart when at normal temperture. I've tried a new ECM and a mass air flow sensor, replaced the ingnition control module and new cap and roter. Nothing has helped! Any suggestions Please!!

They could be separate problems. The no start when hot could be the starter. Easy enough to check. Just drop the starter and look it over. My '87 had that problem and after duncing around with other things I found that the starter was quite shot. As for the miss if you changed what you mentioned it may be an injector or somewhere in the injector harness. you can check for pulse with a node(spelling) light. Also perhaps plug wires. inspect the wires for burnt spots any where they contact each other or anything metal. You may also want to check your fuel pressure under load to see if it maintains.

I'm sure some one else more intelligent thenmyself like mech259 or Lee Willis, will surely answer your questions better than I. Just thought I could maybe point you in the right direction.

Hang in there and good luck with it. Cheers

Sounds fuel related. Have you checked fuel pressure when it will not start?

Any codes? Possible MAF, CTS, or fuel pressure.

Sounds like your fuel injectors are toast. You need to check the resistance on them. they should all read about 16.2. That was the problem with my car. Put a new set in and it is like a new car.
