I have a 79 vette w/3speed automatic. I just replaced my intake manifold gaskets. now my transmission is not shiftting out of low. Do I have a vacuum line hooked up wrong? or is it mechanical? the engine is running good.

Vacuum is all it could be. Those are good transmissions. Just check your vacuum lime all the way to the modulator on the transmission
