I have almost completed a frame off restoration of a 76 L-48. When I fired the engine to break in the cam, adjust things, etc I ran into a problem. As the car was running at 1500 RPMs or so I noticed that the catalytic converter and part of the rear cross over pipe were glowing orange hot. The converter is brand new magnaflow high flow. Any suggestions?:eek:
