I have a 78 vette that I have been working on all year. Little by little i have found and fixed most of the problems. I have not been able to find anything wrong with the wiring of the car except the dash and interior lights are not very bright. Does anyone have suggestions on what i should look for ? Many Thanks

The dashlights are dimmed by a variable resistor on the light switch. Turn the knob back and forth and see what happens. If nothing happens there is some kind of a problem with the light switch. If it's turned all the way to the right and they're still dim and the dome light is not on there's another problem with the light switch. If everything acts normal and they're still dim it's like my 79 I wish the dashlights were brighter,so I guess I could take it all apart and put in brighter bulbs,don't think so!

I will check on that...come to think of it, I don't think the dome light comes on when the switch should turn it on. thank you for your help.
