Even after washing/waxing, I still have problems keeping the tail lights clean. Is it the car's design or color or should I use another type of wax that repels dust/dirt? I use Meguiars wax which I think is one of the best waxes out there. My car's color is call "plum" which I think came out in 1995.

I pick up a lot of dirt there too. Every now and then I take the lights out and spray behind inside. I notice that the dirt really builds up behind there. It seems to help a bit. I saw some lights that come flush with the rear I am thinking about going with those to eliminate this problem.

Upgrade to LED lights and you dont have to worry...They will be to bright to see dirt
