id like to get any car on the ring...13 miles long, and over 170 turns?!? i could wear out a set of brakes and tires in one lap...:)

I race that track all the time...............on GT4 :) That track is so big I don't like it.

are you into games at all pilot? were you a pilot int he corps, im guessing?

I really enjoy gaming, but there is not enough time in the day to do it. I have not played any games in nearly a year...we moved here last August, and the work schedule is too demanding. I get most of my internet time while Kelly watches TV. I sit here with a wireless connection...I don't much like TV (except for American Idol), so it works out well...

I am a pilot, I fly CH-53E's and CH-53D's as an instructor here in Yuma, AZ...

It's funny you say that. I have found that my students that played a lot of video games, and that are good at them, are often the better pilots. Makes sense if you think about it, it's a matter of hand/eye coordination. When we fly at night on NVG's, I always think of it as a video game, an I tell my students to think of it that way. It helps them relax, and they often fly a little better.

Same skills, totally different skill set, if you know what I mean. It's a cool job though...for now.

If you want to read a little more about it, it's a CH-53E (http://www.hqmc.usmc.mil/factfile.nsf/0/8a583a9bef2c6f8d8525626e0048f5fc?OpenDocument). I did a search and that was the page I found. There are many more like it.

I don't know why we use the term "plane" all the time. Technically it is a plane, but I know that we don't like the army term, "chopper".:)

like i said, i dont know a great deal about our various aircraft...i had assumed it was a plane of sorts..helicopter didnt cross my mind...and with the internal and external load, it weighs some 130,000 lbs? kind of the bumble bee theory...

is that webpage made to give you guys a link when people like me ask quetions? :D

The page is an easy way to answer lots of questions, yes, I think it is more of a recruiting tool than anything.:)

my neighbots son, who i watch from time to time when they have to run out, has a play station 2 and he has the new Gran Turismo game, and it is great fun getting to beat up my car, without actually beating up my car...:)
