I pulled the CAT and it runs like a champ. I never would have thought it could clog so quick. Again thanks very much, I wish I would have had the patience to wait alittle longer for a response. Now to shop for a exhaust system, uknow, as long as I have it off and all.

I'm wondering if when you do get your new exhaust together and go to install it, that you leave the Cat off as it may give you more HP. I know a fellow who leaves the Cat off his Vette and it has made quite a difference, so he says. ;)

A word of caution. Cats don't usually meltdown without a reason, like a rich or very lean fuel mixture. Also, having a smog pump that is pumping downstream air all the time instead of being regulated. So, I would definetly get the performance prob checked to see if something caused the problem. ;)
