I just got a new 2007 C6 (I've only had it 7 days) and don't really know how good the stock Bose system is yet. Mine has 6 disc in dash changer, XM sat. receiver, MP3, steering wheel controls and seven speakers. My dealer said that the radio controled alot of the on board computers, but I have my doubts he knows what he is talking about. Am I stuck with a stock corvette system or am I able to change the radio without messing up anything. Also is a speaker upgrade a good idea or are the stock speakers high enough quality to get by? I don't want to go all out with a booming system like on Pimp my ride, but I always had a good aftermarket one put in on any car I though I was keeping more that 2-3 years. Also if a system upgrade is recommended which one is a good cosmetic fit for the new C6 radio proportions ?

:DIm getting two twelves put in the back of my 86. I say go with woofers. The bose is really bad in MY CAR. As I think it is in all older models. I say get a new system but thats just my opinion. If you got the $$ go for it man. Good luck.
