The power locking mechanism on the driver's side of my C4 has failed. The passenger door still locks and unlocks when the button is pushed. Anybody have any thoughts before I proceed to take my door apart and look for loose wires?

Check fuses first. Then check the switch. Then take the door apart. That is the way I would do it anyway. :)
