Hey, i have a 90 coupe i just bought, and the power door locks do nothing, and also the hatch release doesn't work. Any ideas on where to start on the door locks? Does anybody know where the door lock relays are? Thanks a bunch!

 

I'm going to ask the obvious. Have you checked fuses? There is no relay for the rear hatch, I think. When I get to my shop this morning, I will look up a wiring diagram and post. If the fuses are good, you will have to check power with a test light on the switches for doors and hatch. If you have power on both sides (Up and Down) on the locks by rocking the switch, then you probably have bad actuators (seen it several times before). Good luck, because the ones in the doors are not much fun to change out. []

 

There is a deck release relay in "Rear of cargo compartment" and main power comes from circuit breaker in fuse panel. The door locks get their power through the power door fuse along with power accessory circuit breaker. [8D]
