hey everyone. as you might've read on the c3 forum, I have an 81 vette I'm looking to restore.
Right now I'm working on the financial planning, but have one specific question that's been in my mind since I got the car.

Its a factory automatic. I want to convert it to a manual.
Assuming its a complete rebuild from the frame up, how difficult will this be?

Any input would be helpful, even if its just a wild guess.

Its not the difficult. Best to buy a complete assembly bell housing from a surplus yard for the right year: bell housing, clutch, make sure you new trans will fit or buy one with a trans and have that rebuilt. trans, etc.
