Even with the recession, I'm sort of surprised that there seem to be so many dealers offering them, given the low production numbers. I've had three local dealers contact me about the ZR1, one of them promised "a very good price."

If I was going to spend that type of money on a 'vette again I think I'd go for a really good '56 model.

 

Hey Lee, I see what you mean about a '56. That would be great! I see that you have an Aston Martin in you signature...those are one of the most beautiful cars that I have ever seen! Congrats!

 

Why '56 and not '57 when the four speed, posi, 283 and F.I. were added? They look the same.

 

Low production numbers don't mean squat. SLP made 29 '97 Firehawks with the LT4 engine and many other perf goodies and I had three of them and one of the 100 Camaro SS versions with the LT4 and when it came time to sell them, the low production numbers meant nothing. Same too with two '95 Cobra Rs.
