1964 vs 1967 Corvette
I have a chance locally to buy a restored 327/300 1964 coupe or a restored 1967 327/300 coupe. Both at $65k. Which would be the better choice? 1964 is factory red on red. 1967 is factory blue on blue.
I know it's opinion to a degree. But there must be differences in ride, comfort, etc. Also resale. Hope to get into a 1967 427 eventually. Neither has power steering unfortunately. No AC either. Both numbers matching with documentation. Restored back to original. Both manual with power brakes. Both vinyl interior.
I wouldn't let any car go today for lack of power steering. The electric conversions are cheaper to install and most importantly, do not alter the engine compartment. No new pulleys, hoses or otherwise. Hidden and relatively easy to remove if the next owner doesn't like it
