Default 1965 Corvette Order

This will probably be a long shot. In late 1964, I was living in Saginaw, Michigan. Single of course, recent discharge from 4 years in US Navy. November of '64, I ordered a Milano Maroon 1965 StingRay, from Draper Chevrolet. Yes, this is ancient times. Roadster, one top, radio delete, factory side pipes, 365 HP solid lifter, 220 close ratio 4 speed. Because of personal reasons, I did not take delivery. My pals told me, go see it, you have to take it. I did put down a deposit of $500.00. It didn't happen. Remorse ? Yes, more today then yesterday. I have contacted the dealer in past years, of course no luck.
If anyone on here did the history of that roadster and is the present owner, I would like to hear from you. I believe the delivery time was 7 to 8 weeks from order.

Welcome to the forum.
Good luck on your search. Have you thought about trying the DMV in Michigan?

Default C2 Search

Thanks for reply. I am not having any luck replying to your PM. Without the VIN, I am SOL. I will contact Corvette clubs in MI. Yes, 1990 ZR1, a real machine. If this C2 ever surfaces, then a decision, as the 2020 or 21 new Vette will be mid-engine. To me, that is worth waiting for. Prices now on top line new Vettes, in Porsche territory.
