Default 56 vette

hello
i am new to these forums
i have owned a '56 vette since 1979
had it restored externally about ten years ago
it is all original except for a 283 engine
and a '63 4spd transmission.
am now ready to restore/freshen up the engine compartment
could someone suggest the best source for parts?
i will be needing:

radiator
water pump
fuel pump
the hoses for the above
firewall grommets

thanks

does anyone post on this thread?

do the 265 and 283 engines use the same
external parts?
ie the same water and fuel pumps etc?

thanks

here is the front engine mount.
interesting that the water pump
is installed WITH it to the engine block
and that a gasket is needed in front
and in back of the mount bracket!!
i will admit tho
that it wasn't that hard to do
also, what is interesting,
is that only one gasket comes with the water pump!
i take it that this is because
later vettes only require one gasket per side?

here is a picture of what appears to be a junction terminal
on the right upper side of the firewall area.
i cannot find any reference to it in any of the shop manuals
or restoration books or the the wiring diagrams.
i am waiting for my judging manual, hoping it will be in there.
does anyone know what this terminal is for
and how to wire it correctly?
thanks

That is a circuit breaker and was probably added to power an accessory of some sort. Unlikely to be factory, possibly dealer installed, more likely previous owner.
