Default Need purchasing advice

What am I missing? I’ve found several corvettes for sale that would appear similar... except for the price. Several 67s that have all the features I like and would appear show quality but they are for sale for $20k-$25k. I find others for 3x more but look the same. Both may have numbers matching big blocks, looks clean, reasonable mileage so I don’t know why one would pay so much more when a “friendlier” option is available. So what’s the difference? What am I missing?

Welcome to the forum. I would shy away from any '67 at $20K-$25K.

Thanks for the reply and the advice. Would you shy away based on the belief the ad would be fraudulent or that any 67 in that price range would require 2x that amount to make it a viable vehicle?

The price range for a base Coupe that needs work starts at $45,000. The base price for a roadster that's show ready starts at $165,000. The base big block is a $10,000 add.

My conclusion is that any '67 is going for $20,000 to $25,000 is a scam and I would walk away from that.
