Default Over heating problems - 65 Small Block

I have had several debates about what the operating temp should be for these C2 models. Mine is a 300 H.P. Automatic - shouldn't build a gross amount of heat - but - I get temps on a hot day of 210 degrees and worse. I have had the stock radiator boiled out and it is like new. The 190 degree thermostat is working, the water pump and all seem fine. I have Redline water wetter in the car - better but not great. Has anyone replaced the stock radiator with a will fit aluminum radiator? Has that solved the problem? I don't want to throw more money at the problem and not get results. John

a aluminum will help you will drop 15 to 20 deg in temp. a little pricy but well worth it. ...griffin or be cool are good ones.also you can buy a plat you can poprivet on the back of the water pump propeller and will throw the water faster will drop temp 5 to 8 deg, try a 180 thermostat to, and try a additive called 40 below will work better than red line water wetter. that engine should run about 180 --to 185 deg,
