Default Price too high??

Long URL for a local Facebook ad. Seems like $65k a little too much for an "original" 1962 327/340. Thoughts? I should be able to find a nice 1963-1967 convertible eventually at that price I believe.

According to the latest Corvette Magazine Buyer's Guide, a '62 ranges from $40,000 to $125,000. That covers the Needs TLC all the way up to Show Ready. Of course options such as engine performance factors such as fuel injection or dual carburetors and hardtops add on to these values.

The range for '63 through '67 is $30,000 to $165,000. As before, extra cost options add on to these figures.

BTW, the Facebook listing is gone.

Yes, the 1962 sold for $65k in 24 hours. Unrestored mostly original.

A '62 in average condition was listed at $66K. Without seeing the listing, it's hard to tell if it was a good deal but guessing since it sold so fast, I would say it was.
