Default Pros and Cons of a Fuelie

For 1964, is a having a factory fuelie worth the trouble that fuelies bring?

I was looking at this one. It has been for sale for 4 months now. Price might still be too high??

According to the 2021 Corvette magazine buyers guide it would be worth about $100,000. You could check with some auction results at Mecum and Barrett-Jackson to see if you could find something comparable and see what it went for.

As to whether it's worth it or not for potential problems, that's really up to how much knowledge you have about how the FI system works. I had one on my '73 for about a year and other than one minor problem, it ran fine. I did spend about a year learning about how it functioned and how to set it up. I then rebuilt it from the ground up. The big plus that I noticed was the instant response to acceleration.
