1967 w/ Oil Dripping inside
Good Evening,
My dad recently passed and left behind his beloved 1967 Stingray, with the original 327. I noticed today that oil is dripping from behind the glove box, onto the passenger floorboard. It smokes inside the cabin when driving. I originally thought it was coming from the oil pressure line, but after removing the glove box, that does not appear to be the case. I have no idea where this is coming from. Has anyone dealt with this before, or have any ideas where to start? Thanks very much for your time.Dan

Welcome to the forum. Sorry for your loss.
Could it be a loose connection at the gauge allowing a fine spray or maybe a pinhole leak in the line? I'm really at a loss here as that's the only oil source behind the firewall that I'm aware of.

Thank you sir. I replaced the line oil pressure line today and really thought that may do the trick. Unfortunatley, it still has the small drip, coming from the same exact spot. I am at a loss as to what to check for next. Pulled the glove box out and didn't see anything.
Try putting paper towels down on the floorboard and then see what color the oil is. And then you can look also directly above where it shows up to see if that tells you anything.
Does the car have A/C? There is refrigerant oil in the A/C to lines and maybe it's coming from a leak in the evaporator.
