1969 427/390 - Opinions on Car/Price?
This car has been on Hemmings for over a month. I sent a message asking to verify body/color codes and matching engine numbers. Practically given up on C2's at this point. None local worth buying for past 4 months. What do you guys think of this car? It's two hours from me one way.

It looks nice and it’s close enough that you can drive to and do an up close inspection. I think ( and this is my thoughts ) 60k is on the very upper end of what the more sought after C3’s are going for at auction.
Value of the C3 are starting to go up and the 69/427 numbers matching is one of them and prices are only going up. It’s really all your decision on what your willing to pay and is it an investment or a car to enjoy on the weekends, or both.
Corsport.com is a great source for finding information about Vin # , location of all the numbers on the block, heads , carburetor , alternator etc…
Do your homework and good luck finding your corvette .

The 2021 Corvette Magazine Buyers Guide lists a '69 roadster from $14,000 to $53,000. Then the 427/390 is a $5,000 add, A/C is a $3,000 add, and side exhaust is a $2,000 add. The price range covers from one that needs TLC all the way up to show ready. I did notice that this particular one has a L-88 style Hood without the accompanying cold air induction system and also it is missing the braided shielding on the spark plug wires.
