Default 1980 Tach Plug

Can somebody do me a favor and post a pic of the tach plug that goes into the distributor and where the wire goes? I was out of town and my uncle decided to put a new intake manifold on my baby, now the tach doesn't work except on startup when i'm turning over the engine, and the tach plug is not connected to the distributor. I spent 2 hours yesterday with a flashlight going through every wiring harness and every wire going into my firewall and i wasn't able to find it. As you can tell i'm a little frustrated. I looked through my 2 corvette manuals and 3 corvette service books and i couldn't find anything, no pics no nothing.

please help, i can hear my baby crying from onder her cover in the garage.

So, is the tach plug gone? It should be right there by the dist. The plug for each componant will reach to each componant, and no further.

its not there. thats why i'm pissed. it was before, but its not now, and i have no clue where it went. there's no cut wires, and every other wire is going where it should.

Be sure and thank your uncle for me.
I just had a thought, look to see if he got the plug caught in the block valley and covered it up with the manifold.

Hey 413,
O. K., I found the 'matics. I'm having trouble getting them to download. [sm=imsorry.gif]
Be patient with me, and I'll get them to you as soon as I can. I may have to run them through Photo Bucket in order to get them to post.
BTW, I bought mine through Ecklers.

The main prob I'm havin', is the resolution won't show the 'matics clearly, I've tried several resolution levels but they won't come out clear enough to read.
I'm goin' to keep tryin' though, I haven't given up!
