Default 4 Valve Heads

I found a company that makes 4 valve heads for big blocks and small blocks. I actually came across it by accident, and by chance it's by my house. the problem is...the set of heads is 8 Grand for the cheapest pair. what do you guys think? worth it or not?

seams like a lot to me. but I'm a cheap skate. I found a guy here in Dickson TN. that makes aluminum hemi heads for mopar, ford and chevy. haven't seen any of them up close but according to my brother-in-law, for a 340 mopar he gets 5 or 6grand a set I think. geeeesh! also these multi valve heads must have very small valves, huh?

That's a lot of change for what?, It all depends on just what you want to use your Vette for.
If you're goin' for full race, you better be thinkin' in the realm of 15 to 20g's for a complete engine, now look into the drive train that will handle it.
Talk to Lee Willis, he's got the baddest Vette I know of.

well i was planning on spending around that in the long run on the engine...just not half of that on the heads alone.

I was thinking of starting with a Dart Block, titanium pistons andpisonrods, Comp Cams Crank and Cam, Roller rockers, hydraulic lifters, and a Holley direct port injection system.

i was going to go for Dart heads, but now...ehh...i don't know.

anyway, i was going to twin turbo it with Banks turbos with a boost level of 20 psi. I already smoke ricers and mustangs, but i want to be able to smoke those rich bitches in Lambo's and Ferrari's.

nah, i'm only 20. I bought my baby when i was 16 from the guy i worked for at the time who owned a place that specialized in working on and selling Corvettes and Miata's (FYI Miata's are the most ghetto-rigged cars i have ever worked on).

I'm just a huge Beach Boys fan who lives in LA. I've seen them in concert 3 times and Brian Wilson twice...but every time i hear that song I just feel like racing someone. The way Brian Wilson words his songs just gets my adrenaline going when I'm in my car. I've got a playlist on my iPod titled "Driving/Racing songs" that I listen to when first get in my car that gets me up and ready for whatever comes up. The songs on it are "Little Old Lady from Pasadena", "Born to be Wild", "I Get Around", "Little Deuce Coupe", "Fun Fun Fun", and "Shut Down" is the final one because by that time my baby is all warmed up and looking for fresh meat.

When I cruise we just play the Beach Boys Greatest Hits all night long, particularly "Little Deuce Coupe" which I put on repeat when my wife can tolerate it, because in a real sense, my '02 (deuce) ZO6 (coupe) is one.
