Default 69 tire question

Having a 69 restored, need recomendation for wheel and tire size. Want to put TorcThrust II with TA's. Do not want to use low profile tires, but would like to know what biggest 16" tire I can put on the back to fill the wheel opening. I have standard trailing arms. Also what size 15" tire to put on the front that does not effect steering or spedo calibration.

Speedo calibration will be affected by the REAR tires
For the front I believe 245-60-15 is the biggest (widest) you can get away with.

No longer interested in speedo calibration, more interested in filling rear wheel well. Would like to use a 16" or 17" rim. What size tire would you recommend ? Thank you for the info on the front and thanks in advance for rear info.

I have not really gone to a wheel well filling rear tire, unfortunately I am out on this one. Good luck!

You can get 255/60-15 in the rear with stock wheels. Also in the front but may require some minor trimming.
