Default 69 vette all matching

Hello all,
newbie here, thanks to all and this forum for the help. Here is a picture of our 69 stingray all matching numbers. And yes I have a head light problem

Very nice! Looks like there might also be a slight wiper cover problem.

73 Shark,
yes she needs a little work on her. But 69,000 miles all original. And numbers match. The vacuum is kicking my butt. It has been a long winter and to cold to work in the garage. Sure glad its spring

Yeah, I've always heard that those wiper doors were tough to keep operating correctly. Probably why they were dropped in 73 plus cut costs.

Does the wiper door open and close on it's own or is it stuck in one position? If you disconnect the actuator and you can't move the door by hand, you nee to remove the whole mechanism and replace the bushings, lube the joints with lithium and reinstall it. If the door opens and closes easily, it's the vacuum ghost attacking. I highly recommend taking it to a service location that has a smoke machine. That is the most efficient way of finding any leak in the system.
