I have a set of wheels (pictured) and was wondering if they are OK with the "Corvette C3 Police" on a 71 convertible.
Were the stock corvette steel wheels special to corvette or is it a steel wheel commonly used on GM vehicles?
Also,what kind of wheels were optional / available from Chevrolet
for a 1971 Corvette convertible (pictures would be great)?

The wheel you pictured was a period correct aftermarket wheel that was used a lot on Corvettes. The stock 15" by 8" Rally wheels were specific to the Corvette and were the only wheel option for Sharks 'til '75 when the aluminum wheel came out which was originally set to come out for '73s but they failed testing. It's alleged that a few sets slipped thru on '73s.

For pics, I suggest you buy a '71 brochure from MidAmerica Motorworks or someplace like that. Or you can look at replacements in one of the many aftermarket vendors.

As far as the "Corvette C3 Police" go, my take is if you like it then do it.
