Default '77 front and rear bumpers.

I have a stock '77 corvette and need the front and rear bumpers due to deterioration. What are the stock bumpers made of? Urethane or "truflex" fiberglass? Anyone have either of them for sale? Thanks.

I have a 79 and the bumpers are urethane. A good way to check is the urathane bumpers are all wavy along the top because of being old. The fiberglass ones will be perfectly smooth.

While the replacement urethane bumper covers are expensive, they are bolt-on whereas the fiberglass and tru-flex w/ require trimming and fitting.

Thats right, but the fiberglass won't have the waves in them.

Neither my original or NOS urethane cover suffered from the dreaded waves.
