I have an 82,the 2nd one I have owned. This one had 58k miles when I got it. It just turned 60K after 2yrs of driving. It was missing so i took it to the shop. long story short, motor has to be rebuilt. Any suguestion on good cams and rockers and pistins ect.. to place back into it that I want have to change the chip. Also does anyone know anything about The crossfire Specialist ,X-ram intakes? Does anyone know where I can get a delay cicurt board for windshield wipper switch? Also looking for Part # 372586 ,It;s a small plastic elbow that fits under the tunnel of the air intake that a flexhose attaches too?

RE: 82
Hmmm... the intake elbow. Could it be this:

Delay circuit board? I haven't had to mess with that yet. Good luck. I thought that the delay circuit was in the switch, or maybe in the motor assembly? I know the C4's have it in the wiper motor cover (and they are far from cheap).
As for the motor... Any time I need that much work done, I go for a crate motor that is already set up, dyno'd, and ready to run (with a warranty). If the car/motor/numbers are worth enough, I'll rack the old motor and rebuild it as I have time in case I want to sell it with the car at a later date. A decent crate can be had for $2-3k, and a killer turnkey motor can run $4k-10k (like an LS1, Edelbrock 383, or LS7 prepped for a C3) depending on what you want.
