Default 82 Collectors Edition Wheels

I am looking for some advice on restoring my 82 Collectors Edition wheels to original shine. Anyone have success with this?

If the clear coat is still intact, you should be able to polish them just like your paint. If not, then they'll have to be stripped and refinished. [:@]

73shark has you on the right trac......if needed, you can have them blasted with platic media or crushed wallnut shells as neither will hurt the metal just the clear. once they are cleaned you can clear them again with a self-etching clear. there are clears just for this. I believe eklers carries some and I know Eastwood does. an alternative finish is powdercoat colored or clear. holds up better than paint, or perhaps anodized clear, this holds up well too.good luck.
